Wow, can you believe its almsot fall ? I am able to turn off my AC and open up the windows at night. I have the solar cover on my pool to keep it from getting to cold. Looks like I will have the blower out and be blowing and raking leaves very soon. Fall is a nice season in South Jersey, the colors make for some awesome pictures and there are so many places to go to get out into nature its great! Cooper River park, crowes woods, The Pine Barrons etc.. I will post a few soon as the leaves start to change color.

I can’t believe it, September is here already! Its been a great summer in south jersey, we had some really great weather and all of the sudden it got a lot colder. I went outside just the other day in the morning and was amazed at how “chilly” it was compared to previous mornings. My son is only a week away from school, we picked up his “chello” so it will be ready when he starts school. So the summer of 2009 was a great one, I spent some time away from South Jersey on a vacation but still was able to make it to the jersey shore a few times. Oh how the time fly’s! Soon, we will be raking leaves and getting ready for halloween!

I had to do some shopping today and noticed we also needed some fresh fruits and vegetables. South Jersey is filled with roadside stands for getting fresh produce so I decided to get some farm fresh stuff. Well, I sure did make out well, got some nice Jersey Corn, Jersey peaches and tomatos and a whole lot of other different goodies! I will be having healthy snacks for a while thats for sure. South Jersey is very populated around the area I live but if I travel only 15 minutes away, I am in farm country. I can’t tell you how many different farms I saw, I never realized how much open land there is in South Jersey.

We had some crazy storms here the past night in south jersey. Here in Cherry Hill we had some wild thunder and lightning. Luckily we didn’t lose power but I sure did wake up to a messy yard and pool. Leaves everywhere and bugs all over because the ground is so waterlogged. Once again we are hard at work, but still enjoying the summer day here in Cherry Hill New Jersey. Some pretty wild news, Michael Vick signed with the Philadelphia Eagles recently so its gonna be a wild football season. Go Eagles!

I bet its hot in other places of the world too, but in South Jersey, its humid and hot! Yuck! Makes me want to jump in my pool all day or just stay inside the AC cooled areas. I guess we are not lucky to have that “dry heat” that Arizona has, but South Jersey sure is hot!
