I am really loving the weather we are having this summer! Today is another example of what a great day it is. Sunny, about 85 degress and not too humid. My pool is 86 degrees and last night, my son and I went “night swimming” until about 10pm, we had fun watching 2 bats flying all around above us. The only light on was the pool light so it was a real cool vibe and my son was really curious about bats, we had a lot of fun!


Swimming pools are so much fun, and night swimming is really cool! I like it when the water is a little warm and its a nice clear night out. My son and I try and go night swimming every weekend but depending on how tired we are, we don’t always make it, or at least I am tired! My son never runs out of energy, god bless him!

Who doesn’t love free stuff? Today is a beautifal saturday and I am sitting by the pool. taking dips in and letting my son squirt me with one of his many squirt pistols, and when I break and come out of the water, I am getting coupons and free samples! So far I have gotten a free sample box of prilosec OTC, A 10 Oz bottle of head and shoulders shampoo, Tide laundry detergent and a 2 pack of crest toothpaste.
I love coupons and found that if you use Brand Coupons in your search, you get a lot of results. I signed up at the kraftfoods community and will have to wait to see but I have read some great reviews on them. So wish me LUCK! So todays plan is jumping in the pool, coupon searching, cutting the lawn and taking a nap! Just not in that order LOL

I hope everyone had a great 4th and enjoyed some fireworks. We had fun and saw the fireworks at Cherry Hill West High School, they were great and the kids had a great time. My son 1st went parasailing when he was 6, in Ocean City New Jersey at ocean city parasail, he loved it and we have gone back a number of times. He is asking me to take him again so looks like our next adventure is another parasailing trip, this is a lot of fun and you can go up 2 at a time. I recomend it to anyone, kids love it and its a great way to go on an adventure with the family. They offer photo packages too so you can see pictures of yourself in the air 500 feet high!

Its that time of year again, July 4th, BBQ’s, fireworks and lots of good times. Looks like some classic bads playing at Cooper River this holiday. A few years ago, I took the family there to see Pat Benatar, sure did bring back some memories of my younger days. So I plan to have the pool clean, the yard mowed and the bear cold.
