What a hot day today is, I decided to work from home today and had to take a dip in the pool, it turned out to be a 3 hour swim! It was nice, great way to escape the summer heat. So while others sizzle and are stuck at there desks, I get lucky enough to go swimming. I didn’t realize I would be working from home today, but if that is what the boss wants, and I get paid for it then I am not complaining! I work for a nice company as a contracter and the job does have its perks like today, where I can still work, but at home, take a nap and go swimming! So I decided to update the site and let everyone know how great today was for me! I work hard and developed a pretty cool program that allows out manager to get all the numbers to the execs., so for the fruits of my labor, I finally get a pat on the back!

Here at about south jersey dot com, at least for me, monday would be the best day to have off. Friday would be great too but hey, we can’t expect that can we. So if you happen to be hiring, please hire me! LOL
Have a great monday folks, I know mine will be packed with excitment!
From the point of view from 1 person here at aboutsouthjersey.com who lives in South Jersey!

Hello all, I am not sure if I should say ‘good evening’ or ‘good morning’ as I am still up at 3:24am! But I am having fun! My dog Maverik sleeping next to me, a fine beverage just opened and I just can’t get away from this site! We are still a bit new out in cyberspace and want to have everything looking great so while we constantly work on the site, sometimes we get lost digging into the many options of this theme! Plus, I get more and more idea’s by the minute and get sidetracked looking into them.
So being summer, and me owning a pool, I am adding a new category called “summer”, I actually am a leading expert in a pretty cool thing, taking care of a pool using a non-chlorine chemical called “Softwim” much like the chemical “baquacil” it is an alternative to using chlorine in your pool. I call it “tofu chlorine” and it is much harder to keep your pool crystal clear with softswim, but for those of us who don’t like chlorine, softswim is a nice alternative and I have mastered the formula and solved all of the problems people have trying to balance a pool with softwim!

Three Cups of Tea

Well I’m back after a prolonged absence from posting here. Did you miss me? I’ve just finished a truly extraordinary book called ‘Three Cups of Tea.’ It’s the astonishing true story of Greg Mortenson, an American mountain climber, who after a failed attempt to reach the peak of K2 – the world’s second highest mountain – in 1993, was separated from the rest of his group. Alone, exhausted, without supplies and disoriented he somehow managed to stumble into an impoverished Pakistani village where he was nursed back to health. The rest of this well written page turner tells the tale of Mortenson’s amazing odyssey over the next decade in this fascinating and widely misunderstood part of the world and across continents. Don’t miss it! See also Central Asia Institute
