Its so much fun to be an adult and play with toys. I really love the latest nerf guns. My son has a huge collection of nerf guns and I get to use them whenever we have our nerf wars, thats another great thing about south jersey, the perfect nerf battlefield!

When is the last time you watched TV with no remote? My dog decided to use the remote as a chew toy, I really don’t mind the bite marks but now I can’t flick to different channels! It seems easier to leave the TV on one channel than get up and change it, who knows, I might decide to start reading. No matter what, I still love my dog.

Weekend

So I had a somewhat eventful weekend. Spent some time traveling the Delsea Drive, a.k.a. Route 47 on Friday en route to play golf with my father and two brothers. Of course I forgot my camera, generously donated to me by mis amigos, gracias! Now if we are to believe the NJ Department of Transportation this, the longest state road in New Jersey, has only three taffic cameras.
We all got together last summer to play and that was the first time I had played since the early nineties when I lived in a house adjacent to the University of Maryland golf course in College Park, MD. Another story altogether. Anyway, this was the second time in so many years and alot of fun. The highlight for me, aside from getting to spend time with my family and of course hacking my way out of multiple sand traps, was the eerily motionless black snake, the frog, trees, sky, sounds and wild turkey who I crossed paths with. (Thanks Jim for the pic, like I said I forgot my camera.)
On a rainy Saturday morning I brewed a potent pot of coffee and shovelled the laundry around. Then brought a bookcase up from the basement and spent the next two hours not putting anything on it. Sandwiched in between the walking of friends’ dogs, my son and I went to my niece’s graduation party. Congratulations Kate!
Saturday night we brainstormed, but my brain was flooded. nice to see everyone though.

Early Sunday morning of course was the summer soltice which I marked by reveling in a semi – dream state marked by an imagined (?) parade of curiosities. And then later was reminded on father’s day that for the most part I’m not as interesting as The Legendary Starfy
