Fun day in Atlantic City!

We had a great day in Atlantic City today, first stop Steel Pier Helicopter Tour for a great tour around Atlantic City in a Robinson R-44 Helicopter. My wife and son loved the ride and so did I, then we hung out on the beach and back over to the pier for some rides and games before heading home. Hopefully you enjoy the small video I took and am posting here, as you notice, my son got to sit in the front seat which had no door and the best view!

Happy Friday!

Its friday, what else can I say?? Maverik went to the groomer today and looks great, nice short hair, we were able to get a new remote for the TV that he chewed up and I even programmed it right.

It’s super hot outside today, I think some rain is coming but it doesn’t matter, I still love fridays. Hopefully, saturday’s weather is good and we get a nice helicopter ride in, look for the pics soon after! Have a safe and happy weekend everyone and remember “Rock n Role ain’t noise pollution”

A few weeks ago we all went to see some of my Parents art work at the perkins center for the arts in moorstown. It was great and the paintings were great, my dad has been painting for a while and my mom took it up recently so I was excited when her painting got accepted into the art show, it has to be voted in and the Perkins Center is a fine gallary so I was excited when moms piece got accepted, my dad who is a veteran artist also had a painting accepted which I expected, we have been to a few art shows to see his. I was real happy to find this link to the UsaToday’s website mentioning my mom’s painting. Great job mom!    The courier post originally did the article but to make it to Usatoday, now thats cool! Its the 3rd article from the bottom.

My house is filled with Blecha original’s and I am lucky to live in my own art gallary! Look for some pics of some of there paintings on the site in the near future!

Rob piloting the birdThis is really cool! I love helicopters so when I heard about the Helicopter Skyline Tour at Atlantic City’s steel pier I had to ask my son if he would go with me on a ride. Robert Jr smiled as I told him about it, the last few weekends had rain so we are planning to go this saturday 6/27/09. You take off from the helicopter pad right at the end of the pier and go up and down the coast and around Atlantic City, sounds super fun! These kinds of things are really great to do with kids.
Still remember our 1st time parasailing, he was only 5 and as the boat made its way out of the bay to the ocean I could that some of the other people on the tour were getting a little nervous, one high schooler looked over at us and asked me “how old is he”, when I said 5 they were suprised such a young kid was going on such an adventure. I plan to take many pictures and video. A friend of mine owns Helicopter Flight Services over at Flying W. Airport and I was lucky enough to log 10 whole hours in a helicopter way back a yonder! Helicopter blades chopping through the air always sound so cool! So I really am looking forward to doing this with my son, wish us luck and come back to see some pictures that I plan to post!
