We went over to Flying W airport to visit Helicopter Flight Services, a great place to go if you want to learn to fly or take a tour. They have a great flight sim that my son loved. The airport is real nice with an airplane shaped pool and restauran. It’s a great place to chill and flying helicopters is always fun. Like most of the country it has been a super hot summer. All I can say is “WOW”, nice to have a pool but some days it’s just to hot to even stay out swimming all day. I see lawns all over South Jersey that need water so please rain! I am glad we have AC but our bill sure is huge. The price you pay to stay cool.
Hello all, its been a while since I posted. I was hibernating for the winter! LOL So now that it is warm enough I opened up my pool and we had our 1st swim the other day and looks like everyday is a great swimming day for the memorial day weekend. The pool was green when we opened it and clear in about 2 days! So I decided to start writing a E-Book on pool chemicals and how to get your pool looking great! I have 10 years of experiance (many years very frusterating) so I learned the hard way and want to help and make it easier for all you swimming pool owners.
Chemicals can be Baquacil or Softwim (Chlorine alternatives, more expensive and tougher but no chlorine), and Chlorine, all types tablets powder. Mesh safety cover is the reason its grean.
How to get cloudy water clear, get rid of algea, what to do when the water turns green, vinyl liner floats (yes floats from the water pressure), heating and pump issues/problems/questions. You name it I have suffered and learned from it.

I took my dog Maverik outside to the backyard today and saw this Squirrel stopped about 30 feet up a tree right near our fence. Not sure what is in his mouth, I guess a nut. But I was happy to get the picture since he ran off right after I took it.
